Your Responsibilities:

• Lead InStudio Ventures’ integrated marketing, communications and public relations initiatives

• Design and execute a world-class strategic plan that increases brand awareness and influence with clients and stakeholders

• Identify and monitor KPI’s in order to make strategic decisions

• Collaborate with leadership and external stakeholders in order to increase engagement and advance initiatives

• Reinforce brand identity and build reach through effective communications

• Oversee production of external communications, including annual reports, marketing collateral, videos, etc.

• Manage, mentor and train a team of marketing and communications professionals 

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience as a CMO (or similar title) managing a team that built leading consumer marketing strategies MBA ideal

• MBA ideal

• Hands-on experience with CRM and SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Adwords, HubSpot, WebTrends, SalesForce etc.

• Can make data-driven decisions, and build a team that does the same

• Has defined marketing strategy for a first-of-its-kind product

• Experience developing a leading consumer brand

ABOUT THE POSITION:

 InStudio Ventures is looking for a CTO/Head of Engineering. You will work in an unmatched, fast paced environment in which to develop your knowledge of building early-stage startups, not just from the tech perspective but the wider business. All the benefits of the startup world (innovation, ownership, pace, etc) but with more security and support. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build an engineering team from scratch

•  Roll up your sleeves, check in code, and ship product

• Architect the product and be responsible for the entire code base 

• Help drive the company direction beyond the technical aspects   

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role

• Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy

• Proficient in modern web technologies throughout the stack, think Ruby on Rails, Django, React or Angular

• Understanding of budgets and business-planning

• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research

• Excellent communication skills, leadership and organizational abilities

• Strategic thinking & problem-solving aptitude

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus

InStudio Ventures is searching for a motivated Software Engineer to join our small team. As the first full time engineering hire, you’ll be responsible for turning strategic ideas into a product that powers our business. We are looking for someone who is excited to take technical ownership and have strong opinions about the direction of the product. Our ideal candidate is an exceptional collaborator, strong communicator, with the product savvy to oversee the product lifecycle while maintaining its technical integrity.

Your Responsibilities:

• Own the development and deployment of our product

• Provide technical leadership and propose new technologies that will advance and evolve our product

•  Partner with key stakeholders to define a technical roadmap, propose improvements, and architect solutions that support our business needs

•  Collaborate with team members from InStudio Ventures who are providing design and product management resources 

Requirements:

• Equipped with 3+ years of professional programming experience, including time at a rapidly growing technology organization

• Backed by a strong understanding of software engineering principles and fundamentals, like data structures and algorithms

• Proficient in modern web technologies throughout the stack, think Ruby on Rails, Django, React or Angular

• A quick learner with a can-do attitude

• Experienced in Agile development and continuous delivery

• An eloquent and empathetic communicator (both online and in person!)

InStudio Ventures is searching for a motivated founder to join our team to help build our next batch of portfolio companies. You will work closely with the InStudio Ventures founders to launch and scale new businesses from the ground up. As a business founder, you'll be leading one of our validated ideas to a thriving company by focusing on defining and building out the brand, network, product and team. As a technical founder, you'll be leading the development of the first version of the software by focusing on building out the product, infrastructure and team.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead product management of our new, well-funded portfolio companies

• Spec, build, QA, and ship world class products

• Lead the management and execution of a performance driven marketing strategy

• Collaborate with our global team to develop and scale marketing strategies

Some business founder activities include:

• Business development

• Team and product management

Some technical founder activities include:

• Design and build the technical blueprint of the company

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven marketing

• Strong product management experience

• You have a good understanding of startups and the startup ecosystem.

• You are a problem-solver, a proactive strategic thinker and a pragmatist.

• Self-starter who will thrive in an ambiguous startup environment

• Competitive, entrepreneurial mindset

• Prior startup founder or experience working at an early stage company

• Demonstrated experience building products and leading teams

• You have a US passport or a valid long-term visa for the United States
